This morning the Innisfil Rotary club had a welcomed guest speaker, the Mayor of Innisfil, Mayor Brian Jackson.
Fellow Rotarian Grace Doiron was able to secure the Mayor to speak to the group about his support of Innisfil Rotary and his thoughts and suggestions on our involvement in community projects.
It was super to have this important morning meeting and we look forward to July 8th (Wednesday, 7:15am) to a return meeting with the mayor or a representive regarding among other things, our involvement in the creation of a walking trail at Innisfil Beach Park.
I extend an open invitation to you to attend our Monday 7:30 a.m. (7:15 if a guest speaker is involved) meetings at the YMCA, Innisfil Recreational Complex, south entrance. If you are community minded and have discretionary time as a business owner/self employed/retired and more that your schedule allows participation I encourage you to come! |
